That’s right, I’m going on a short term hiatus. This Wednesday I’m leaving for California! I’m so excited I can’t hardly wait. I’m in the process of packing and all, trying not to forget anything I’m going to need. When I get back I’ll be starting college classes so I want to take time to get used to my new schedule and all, yanno? So, until around mid-September I won’t be making any updates (except on myspace and flickr) I’ll still be on AIM and stuff so if you must contact me for some reason, you can IM me at ItsAmbrosity. I’m sitting here looking at the radar on weather.com and what do I see? Tropical storm Edouard is sitting right above part of Texas, including my town. So, being the curious one I am I look out my window. What do I see then? It’s bright and shiny outside, no rain whatsoever. So, I look at a local news station and it looks the same. Finally about 10 minutes later it starts to sprinkle I’ve been so disappointed with this storm! It was supposed to be pretty bad with 60mph winds and I haven’t seen anything even though according to the radar I’m right in it. The weather channel lies, guys. Don’t trust them!!

and many, many emails, comments, and questions submitted to me about my tutorial links not working, I’m finally getting my lazy butt to sit at the computer and at least put a dent in fixing them..by that I mean I can at least get some of them back up and helping! So I’m going to do that right now! Every time I’m done with one I’ll post the link right here for easier access also Stay tuned!

Oh, and by the way, I went to the midnight premiere of The Dark Knight on Thursday night / Friday evening and was completely blown away! The movie was amazing, the people who were at the theater were amazing (people dressed up and acted out and stuff! :D) and it was so good that I want to see it for a second time! I recommend it to anyone! (I’m also going to write a review on it pretty soon here.)

Tonight I’m going to “Rock the Dock” at the Kemah Boardwalk with Tori. Tonight a band from Austin is playing called “Radio Star”. They play from 6:30 to 10:15 so we’re going to be there partying it up for a good 4 hours I’m excited. I haven’t been to the Kemah Boardwalk in quite some time. Too bad tonight isn’t karaoke night though. That’s my favorite thing to go to. Anyways, tomorrow I get my first paycheck! I am so happy, especially since it’s going to be around $350 since it’s a 3 week pay. Normally it’s only a two week paycheck but I started working at a funny time, so my pay is going to be for 3 weeks! and right now I’m having some sort of allergy attack and I can’t stop sneezing Oh! I won two awards in the The Q*Bee Spring flowers activity! I won first place in “Overall Favorite” and second place in “Best Pixelled” Here’s my flower and the awards!

Thanks to all you guys that voted for me I really appreciate it! I was so excited to see the voting results for so long and I’m glad they were finally posted, I dunno if I could wait any longer Go me!

My birthday is coming up in 6 days..Wednesday June 25! Make sure you wish me a happy birthday I wanted to have a party at Dave & Busters but my mom says that will be too hectic..so I don’t know what I’m gonna be doing. the best thing is, my mom is going out of town on my birthday for the next 6 days along with my sister so I will have the house ALL TO MYSELF! It’s going to be so fantastic. My boyfriend is especially excited about it too

Well, I’m going to head over to Tori’s house to get ready as soon as she gets her lazy butt out of bed..It’s already 2PM and she’s still asleep!! Toodles!

I got a new job on Tuesday. I’m a sandwich artist at Subway I’ve worked the past three days and so far I’m liking it very much, except when there’s a huge surge of customers. I’ve worked 14 hours already on a 6 dollar an hour wage (Sucks, I know) so, so far I’ve made about 54 dollars, give or take a few for staying over my time tonight.

Tomorrow is graduation! I’m so excited! It all starts at 7pm tomorrow evening but I have to be there around 6:15 to get prepared and stuff I guess. I’m so glad I’m finally done with high school..now it’s off to college!!

I will be updating more over the next few days hopefully- since I have a job now there will be less updates but I will try to get more done than normal. Toodles!
