I think the whole conformity of only have 140 characters to write about is rotting me from the inside out when it comes to having the creativity to make a decently long blog. Nonetheless, I do want to get back in to blogging, not just for the interwebs, but also for personal logging of my life. I like looking back through my blog entries and reading about stuff, and I’m sure I can relate to a lot of people on here in that idea. I hope everyone has enjoyed looking at this summery layout throughout summer and fall, but I definitely want to put something new up by Winter. That would be weird if I just left this up the rest of the year.

I’ve been to numerous interviews the past few weeks, and actually scored a job. I was hired at Bath & body Works. Unfortunately, they did not explain to me that I could constantly be a call-in. I was scheduled for 4 days out of the week and was told not to come each one. I asked them about it and that is when they actually explained it to me. Jerks. I dropped that job as quickly as I could, even though I was very excited to start working there. I had an interview at Barnes & Noble, and have tried numerous times to get back with the hiring manager, but she is always on vacation / busy / not in. I asked someone to leave a message from me for her to call me back but apparently she just doesn’t want to, or she didn’t receive the message in the first place. Either way, I’ve been calling back every day asking for her with no avail. hopefully today this will change. also, a store called Fashion Bug is very interested in hiring me. I haven’t heard anything back yet, but supposedly the manager is out until Friday, so hopefully then I will find something out. Andy already has two jobs. He works for UPS and Target. He never gets a job before me! I’ve always been the one to get work before him, but that’s changed. I really would like to go back to Starbucks, but of course, none of them are hiring. i think the one I used to work is hiring at the moment, but I refuse to go back there for numerous reasons. Today is my day off though, so I’m going to thoroughly enjoy it, even though I have a ton of laundry and cleaning to do. My rat cage is filthy and so are my poor fishies tanks. Oh yeah, and I’m going to the movies today to either see Four Christmases or Madagascar 2. I’m trying to lean more toward Madagascar 2. I hate Reese Witherspoon! So that’s my awesome exciting update. I honestly don’t have the time I would like to maintain my site at this moment, but that will all change in a couple of weeks. I have one week of school left and then it’s finals week and then I can say hello to 6 weeks of Winter break! Yay So expect me back maybe once some time between now and then, and then I’ll get the ball rolling on updating some more. I’ll be working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday for 4 hours each day. My training will take around 2 weeks, so that is going to be my basic schedule for a while Andy had to be at work at 9AM this morning, so I’ve been up since 8:30 helping him get ready. I came home and noticed there was a huge garage sale across the street at 6 different houses, so my sister and I walked over there. I didn’t end up buying anything for myself..but spent $15 on my sister at $1 on Andy. Why does that always happen to me! Today is supposed to be my relaxation day before I have to start work, but I have a TON of things on my mind that I need to get done by 1PM. I have to clean my room, do mine and Andy’s laundry that’s been piling up for the last 2 weeks, drive to the mall to get a clear piercing for my nose (Starbucks is strict on any type of unnatural facial objects) and finish up some online homework that is due Monday morning. So blogging probably isn’t a good idea right now, but I figured I would make a little update to hold you all until some time next week. Toodles! I did a huge update from my iPod yesterday morning while on break in class, but when I tried to submit it it got erased! I’m at the bowling alley with Andy and a couple of friends and figured I would try to update a little whil I’m waiting to bowl. So let me try and sum up everything I said in a few sentences ’cause my turn is coming up soon and I want to finish this before having to bowl again. Wednesday’s interview went great. Usually managers call for a second interview, but Leah (the manager interviewing me) liked me so much that she said it was unneeded so I officially got the job. I went in earlier today to fill out all the necessary paperwork and get my apron and hat. We also did tasting of some coffee. My goal is to try all the coffees by the end of February Think I can do it? Christmas is coming up next month and I already know what my dad and stepmom are getting me. In simpler terms, they purchased Andy and me a special date night, which includes a gift certificate to a nice restaurant downtown, hotel reservations, and tickets to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra!! I am so excited about it. It’s all for December 28th.
