I Love Sally Beauty Supply!
Filed under Hair Stuff, ShoppingI never really have shopped much at Sally Beauty Supply, and I honestly don’t know why. They have the best products for your hair and the best prices on them as well. Today I went in there and signed up for their beauty club card, which cost me $5, and shopped for a few things. I’ve been needing a big curling iron for a while now, and they had one for $12.99. Since I have the beauty club card now, the price was only $11.99. The coolest part is that it came with a cute little mini straightener! I know I have the best straightener in the world already (I own a Sedu Revolution!) but this mini iron will help me get closer to my scalp and also be easier to straighten my bangs with. Not to mention the adorable pink leopard print design on it!!

Plus, I got this split end treatment made my ION. It’s supposed to work really well, and my ends definitely need some work. The green bottle is some stuff that will help my frizzies go away, but boost my waves & curls, yay!
Oh yeah, and the best thing about this all is I’m getting a $5 gift certificate in the mail soon for signing up for the beauty club, so technically the membership was practically free!
Like Sucks, Especially On Bad Hair Days
Filed under Friends, Shopping, Updates, WordpressMy poor straightener broke today
It was a nice one too. It’s actually not that popular of a brand in the US, because it’s from Europe. It’s a regular Corioliss straightener, so now since it’s broken I’m going to try and find a better one. I’m thinking since it’s over 4 years old that by now they’re HAD to come out with better ones. I have my fingers crossed hoping it won’t be too expensive. So, since my straightener is dead now, I have to venture out to the mall to try and find a better one. Honestly today does not feel like a shopping day, but I don’t want to go another day with bad hair. It makes me feel crappy! So I’m bringing my friend Rachel along with me since Andy is working on the roof today. The WordPress integration is going great. I’m 3/4ths of the way done! Not only that but I’m trying to give my pages a face-lift while I’m transferring them to WordPress. I’ve completely redone the goodies page along with any pages linked from that to be more user-friendly!
There’s going to be a new hostee moving in. Her name is Amanda from Not Quite Petite. She posted on the The Q*Bee about WordPress problems and I offered to host her since it would be a lot easier to work with a hosted site than 110mb. Sure enough she got back with me and now she’s going to be one of my hostees, so welcome to Hello-Love Amanda! I’m glad to be hosting you
Starbucks Here I Come!
Filed under Family, Shopping, Starbucks, Updates, WorkI start work on Monday
My schedule is pretty simple right now. I’ll be working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday for 4 hours each day. My training will take around 2 weeks, so that is going to be my basic schedule for a while
Andy had to be at work at 9AM this morning, so I’ve been up since 8:30 helping him get ready. I came home and noticed there was a huge garage sale across the street at 6 different houses, so my sister and I walked over there. I didn’t end up buying anything for myself..but spent $15 on my sister at $1 on Andy. Why does that always happen to me!
Today is supposed to be my relaxation day before I have to start work, but I have a TON of things on my mind that I need to get done by 1PM. I have to clean my room, do mine and Andy’s laundry that’s been piling up for the last 2 weeks, drive to the mall to get a clear piercing for my nose (Starbucks is strict on any type of unnatural facial objects) and finish up some online homework that is due Monday morning. So blogging probably isn’t a good idea right now, but I figured I would make a little update to hold you all until some time next week. Toodles!
Oh yeah, and if you have time would you think about signing up at Re.View.Me ? A nice referral point would be extremely nice to receive
