I’m Back, or At Least I Kind of Am.

It’s really good to be back in Texas. I had a lot of fun in Idaho. You can see all my pictures on my Flickr account if you’re interested But anyway, I am back, sort of. I’ve taken a short break from the computer and got my life sorted out, started back at college and everything is going smooth..for now at least. Starbucks hasn’t given me any hours in the past two weeks, and I have no idea if I’ll be working this coming week either. I have to go up there today and see what’s up with my schedule and if they don’t give me hours, I’m quitting. I know, I know, I wanted the job so bad, but I’m not going to put up with that big of a cut on my hours..it’s kind of ridiculous! But yeah, so I don’t have too much time to update right now because Andy and I have been watching movies for the past few hours. First was The Sixth Day and now we’re taking a small break right in the middle of P.S I Love You. I’ll be sure to have reviews for them later on! (That’s something else I need to get back in the habit of doing as well) But for now I have to get back to the movie Toodles!

Work, Work, Thanksgiving, Work

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and stuffed your mouths to your heart’s delight. I sure did. This week has been extremely stressful and long for me. I’ve been working a lot of hours, even on Thanksgiving. Yesterday was Black Friday and I might have gone out shopping but I was way too tired from closing at work the night before and having to go right back in again. Despite the nice paycheck I’m going to receive next week, I’m kind of regretting putting down that I want 30 hours a week. Bleh! I’m doing great at work. I basically have all the drinks we offer down. The only thing that I’ve been having a problem with is getting stuck with doing all the damn dishes. I hate it so much! Every day that I go into work I get stuck with dishes at one point in my shift. Sometimes twice, which means I’ll end up doing them for over an hour and a half combined. It sucks balls. Today is my day off though, so I’m going to thoroughly enjoy it, even though I have a ton of laundry and cleaning to do. My rat cage is filthy and so are my poor fishies tanks. Oh yeah, and I’m going to the movies today to either see Four Christmases or Madagascar 2. I’m trying to lean more toward Madagascar 2. I hate Reese Witherspoon! So that’s my awesome exciting update. I honestly don’t have the time I would like to maintain my site at this moment, but that will all change in a couple of weeks. I have one week of school left and then it’s finals week and then I can say hello to 6 weeks of Winter break! Yay So expect me back maybe once some time between now and then, and then I’ll get the ball rolling on updating some more. Toodles!

After Much Procrastination..

and many, many emails, comments, and questions submitted to me about my tutorial links not working, I’m finally getting my lazy butt to sit at the computer and at least put a dent in fixing them..by that I mean I can at least get some of them back up and helping! So I’m going to do that right now! Every time I’m done with one I’ll post the link right here for easier access also Stay tuned! Oh, and by the way, I went to the midnight premiere of The Dark Knight on Thursday night / Friday evening and was completely blown away! The movie was amazing, the people who were at the theater were amazing (people dressed up and acted out and stuff! :D) and it was so good that I want to see it for a second time! I recommend it to anyone! (I’m also going to write a review on it pretty soon here.)

Piratey Update!

Although it was very lengthy and somewhat boring on some parts, ‘POTC 3′ was very good. There was definitely lots of action and war-ish scenes, with romance thrown in to bring it all together. Oh, unfortunately I didn’t stay for the credits, but I definitely should have, because after them there is an extra scene. I found this out AFTER I went though, from a friend. They explained to me and it’s not too much but it’s a nice way to close off the end of the movie, so if you go see it, make sure you stay until after the credits! Overall, I recommend seeing it, even if you haven’t seen the second one We redid the pool this morning, and now it’s filling up. There’s about a foot of water in it. 4 1/2 more feet to go! I’m excited. I already threw a floaty in the water and floated around on it a bit, but it got boring with no one else outside. Tomorrow we’re having a big Memorial Day get together with some friends, it should be pretty fun. My mom and a few people are going to grill burgers and hot dogs, yum yum :love: Now since we have the pool up it will be a barbecue /pool party. Woo! Not much to update about..I fixed a few images around that site that were broken, but that’s basically it. I’m trying to get my cam portal back up, but now I’m not quite sure if I want to have one now since most people have gotten out of the whole “cam portal scene” What do you think? Should I put a portal back up or just forget about it? Would people really join it again or not? I just can’t make up my mind Well, my birthday is coming up in a month from yesterday. It’s so close! I’m really hoping I get a car pretty soon so I can have a more free summer instead of being stuck up in the house all day. I haven’t done zip, zilch, nada, yet, and I’ve been out of school for a week now. I told my mom I want to go to the Rainforest Cafe again already and she said she’s alright with that. Yay I love that place! I don’t care if you’re 2 years old or 80 years old, that place is so awesome for anyone to enjoy. I’m sitting here in my wet bathing suit, so I’m gonna go hop in the shower and maybe check what’s on TV. I’m gonna work on tutorials tonight, I promise!

Last Week of School

[Edit] I realize the plugs plugin is still not working. I’m looking for another that might work! Also, I’m going to be adding some more visitor content soon (not just graphics) My downloads section hasn’t been updated in 2 years! Yikes O.o Oh yes, and there’s four new Affiliates Angie, Edwin, Kathy and Katyln. Go visit them! [/edit] Everyone always says the last week of school is always the hardest, and I totally agree with them. This week is the last week for me, and I already know what’s going to happen. I don’t have to take four of my exams, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have to do the reviews. So, I have six classes, so that’s six 10-20 page reviews to finish by Friday! Oh my gosh talk about stressful! I’m trying to prepare myself for it, though. I have all the stuff I’m going to need put together in a filing system I’ll be bringing to school with me all week long. Well, I went through my affiliates list today (which I hadn’t done in quite some time) and I wasn’t very happy :/ A lot of people have decided that they no longer want to link me, and have made no effort to contact me over it.Well poo on you, guys So, today I went rummaging around the net and sent in some affiliate requests to some sites I’ve visited in the past and found interest in. At the moment I’ve only heard from 3 people, one denying me, so I’m hoping to hear from a few more Have any of you ever tried this Bolthouse Farms Perfectly Protein Vanilla Chai Tea? It is delicious. I’m not someone you’ll find drinking tea, but I absolutely love this stuff. And supposedly it’s good for you since it has 42G of protein and natual soy in each bottle. It only costs $4.50 at Sam’s Warehouse too! My grandma introduced it to me. I was very reluctant to trying it since I hate tea, but I’m so glad I did. I drink a glass of it a day, usually in the morning with my breakfast. It’s so great I recommend it for everyone, even if you hate tea. Try it, you may be surprised at how good it is! They also have a few other flavors, including Strawberry Banana, Mocha Cappuccino (mmm!), Mango Lemonade, and a few others. I haven’t tried any other than Vanilla, but I’m planning on it. Check their site out to see the rest of the flavours and everything else they sell. They sell a lot of organic foods, so I might check out their other products. So, the Addam’s Family theme song just came on (don’t ask why I have this!) and my bird starts to whistle along to it. How funny is that? He sounds so cute doing it too, because he also makes that snapping sound they make in the music. Just thought I’d share Maybe I should try teaching him other theme songs..Maybe the Inspector Gadget theme song? I saw Spider-Man 3 yesterday, and I have to say, it’s the best out of the whole series. I totally loved it, all that happened, even though the ending is very very sad (I hope no one cares I’ve said that. If you do, I apologize!) I read somewhere that there’s supposed to be more Spider-Man movies, but Toby McGuire doesn’t want to play Spider-Man anymore. So, what do you think they’re gonna do? for one I think they should substitute him for Jake Gyllenhaal..reeeoww. He’d be perfect for the part, and would definitely look a lot better in spandex Venom is by far my favorite character in the movie. He looks so awesome, the special effects are great on him, and it was just..awesome As soon as Summer comes along, I’ll be doing a lot more site specific updates, including new graphics, tutorials (about time I put those back up) and much more. I probably won’t be doing much this week, since I’ll be busy and all. Oh yeah, and I do realize that my plug plugin isn’t working, I’m working on fixing it I meant for this blog to be a bit longer than it is, but I just recieved a phone call, so I have to go now Toodles!

It’s Finally Friday

Thank you Lord, I had a very long week and I’m glad that it’s finally the weekend Only 10 more days (plus two 2 hour final sessions) left of school! I’m so excited guys! This summer is going to totally rock. I’m gonna go see Spider-Man 3 tomorrow. I’ve been hearing a lot of mixed reviews on it, some saying it was great, others saying it pretty much sucked. I will most likely have a good impression of it, since I love love love the Spider-Man series! I’m excited to see Venom finally in Spider-Man, and Poison..not so much the Sandman, no one likes him Hopefully there will still be a number of tickets left when we get there, because we don’t want to end up sitting at the very front staring up at the ceiling to watch the movie or squinting our eyes out sitting in the way-back. So, for that reason we’re going to get there pretty early after we go eat at Ci-Ci’s pizza, the best pizza buffet EVER. I’ve finally kicked myself into gear and made some new smilies for you to download Here’s a preview of what they look like:

Currently there are pink, blue, green, orange, yellow, and purple. I’m working on a few more colors plus a rainbow set which should be available to download sometime over the weekend. Also I might create a few other types, if I find the need to be creative the next couple of days. I really want to try and work on the site this weekend, and I’ll do my best to make myself do it, I promise Leave me some feedback, y’all
