I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and stuffed your mouths to your heart’s delight. I sure did. This week has been extremely stressful and long for me. I’ve been working a lot of hours, even on Thanksgiving. Yesterday was Black Friday and I might have gone out shopping but I was way too tired from closing at work the night before and having to go right back in again. Despite the nice paycheck I’m going to receive next week, I’m kind of regretting putting down that I want 30 hours a week. Bleh! I’m doing great at work. I basically have all the drinks we offer down. The only thing that I’ve been having a problem with is getting stuck with doing all the damn dishes. I hate it so much! Every day that I go into work I get stuck with dishes at one point in my shift. Sometimes twice, which means I’ll end up doing them for over an hour and a half combined. It sucks balls. Today is my day off though, so I’m going to thoroughly enjoy it, even though I have a ton of laundry and cleaning to do. My rat cage is filthy and so are my poor fishies tanks. Oh yeah, and I’m going to the movies today to either see Four Christmases or Madagascar 2. I’m trying to lean more toward Madagascar 2. I hate Reese Witherspoon! So that’s my awesome exciting update. I honestly don’t have the time I would like to maintain my site at this moment, but that will all change in a couple of weeks. I have one week of school left and then it’s finals week and then I can say hello to 6 weeks of Winter break! Yay So expect me back maybe once some time between now and then, and then I’ll get the ball rolling on updating some more. Toodles!

Terrible Mood

I’m updating from my iPod in Starbucks right now. I called Bath & Body Works today and found out that I didn’t get the job. I guess when I thought I didn’t do well in the interview, I really didn’t. Oh well. So to counterract that and to also cheer myself up, I’ve been dropping off applications at numerous Starbucks and also Barnes & Noble and Michael’s Craft Store. Hopefully at least one of them will call me within he next couple of days. I was told by an employee at one of the Starbucks to call around noon tomorrow because a recruiter would be there. I hope it all works out in my favor because I am broke, broke, broke and I’m so tired of it!

and many, many emails, comments, and questions submitted to me about my tutorial links not working, I’m finally getting my lazy butt to sit at the computer and at least put a dent in fixing them..by that I mean I can at least get some of them back up and helping! So I’m going to do that right now! Every time I’m done with one I’ll post the link right here for easier access also Stay tuned! Oh, and by the way, I went to the midnight premiere of The Dark Knight on Thursday night / Friday evening and was completely blown away! The movie was amazing, the people who were at the theater were amazing (people dressed up and acted out and stuff! :D) and it was so good that I want to see it for a second time! I recommend it to anyone! (I’m also going to write a review on it pretty soon here.)

New Job

I got a new job on Tuesday. I’m a sandwich artist at Subway I’ve worked the past three days and so far I’m liking it very much, except when there’s a huge surge of customers. I’ve worked 14 hours already on a 6 dollar an hour wage (Sucks, I know) so, so far I’ve made about 54 dollars, give or take a few for staying over my time tonight. Tomorrow is graduation! I’m so excited! It all starts at 7pm tomorrow evening but I have to be there around 6:15 to get prepared and stuff I guess. I’m so glad I’m finally done with high school..now it’s off to college!! I will be updating more over the next few days hopefully- since I have a job now there will be less updates but I will try to get more done than normal. Toodles!

I’m having cramps from hell right now and it’s really pissing me off, considering I’ve planned on going to the gym today and this is totally discouraging me from doing anything today!! It’s horrible..My back hurts and every time i try to relax it gets WORSE It SUCKS being a girl!! Speaking of going to the gym..I haven’t been in almost 3 weeks. I feel like a failure! I had my new years resolution all planned out and I just got so busy with school and everything to where I totally stopped with trying to pursue it. Damn, I guess I should force myself to go to the gym then!

I put my two weeks notice in at work. I honestly don’t think I can work at Toys R Us anymore, at least for the time being. I am extremely busy with school and my own personal life. I don’t think I need the stress of working right now. And anyways, I’m only making 6 bucks an hour! I think I can do a little better than that at another job. I have a 1,000 word essay due on monday evening and I haven’t had any time to start on it since I’ve been busy with other schoolwork and my job..So I decided I should just quit. I really need to start on that paper though, so I better stop my updating here for now.

I wait every year for my favorite month to roll around..and it’s finally here! Yes, I love October for many reasons. First of all there’s Halloween..secondly, the weather starts to get awesome in October since it’s Fall now and all (Even though it’s still like 100 degrees outside..at least the humidity is low!) Also, there are SO MANY festivals going on right now.. Fall festivals, Harvest festivals, Halloween festivals..it’s basically one big never-ending festival all month long. I never get tired of it. Especially since a lot of the festivals have cheap jewelry places which I go crazy in. Well, I do have some good news. Yesterday my homeroom teacher gave me a mysterious white packet..so being the curious person I am I opened it and what was in there? A letter congratulating me for my outstanding performance in academics I’ve managed to keep a 4.0 + GPA for the past 3 years (I was really bad in 9th grade with a 3.6 GPA so that’s why I didn’t get this last year), which qualified me to letter in academics and receive a free letterman jacket at my school’s expense! I’m so excited..tomorrow they’re going to measure me for it which makes it even more cool because it’s going to be custom fitted just for me and it only takes four to six weeks to arrive, which I don’t think is too bad considering I’m sure the company gets tons and tons of orders which they have to custom make. Also, my mom re-ordered a class ring for me! She surprised me a few days ago when I was looking through a JC Penney catalog at class rings since mine was stolen last year and I’ve really been wanting a new one. I’m so happy and grateful..My ring cost over $100 and it was stolen..Honestly who steals a class ring? It had my name on it, my graduating year, and my full name engraved on the inside. Whoever stole it probably pawned it or sold it to someone for drug money.. Who knows, haha. Halloween is approaching soon, and I don’t have a costume picked out as of yet. I’m having a party next Friday that I figured I would invite a few close friends to..Well, somehow the word got out about it and now half of my school knows about it basically. I have no idea who is coming and how many people are actually going to show. It kind of scares me, haha. I guess I’ll find out Friday. I’m handing out invitations I printed up today with all the information and stuff..I’m really hoping only the people I invited show up but I guess I can’t really control that. I’m not going to turn someone away when they’ve driven all the way to my house Where has all my site traffic gone? It’s significantly dropped down the past two months. I guess I should start promoting my site or something But anyway, I think that’s enough updating for now

No More School!!

Well, at least for the next three months I’m so happy that summer is here, you don’t even know! Now I can almost be considered a Senior! I’ve been waiting for this since 9th grade All I have to do now is show up on Tuesday for my Spanish exam (I found out I’m exempt from my gym exam, yay!) and I’ll be fully done with 11th grade. It’s been a great year, I had a lot of fun, but I’m so glad it’s finally over with. Senior year is going to rock. I’ll be getting my free letterman jacket in Academics for having a 4.0+ GPA, I’ll be going to my college class, and better yet, I’ll be graduating from high school in a year! Seems like such a far away date from now, but I’d rather enjoy my Senior year than it fly by super fast. Even though next year I know I’ll be talking about how fast it went by. That always seems to happen! Well, like I said, I would be getting some web icons up for downloading. I finished them last night Here’s a preview of what they look like

I think they’re super cute. There are 50 in all, so that is just showing you 20 of them. I might be using them on my site, instead of other people’s since now I’ve made my own. Feel free to go to the web icons page to download them! The more the merrier! I wouldn’t mind some feedback on them too, just so I know how the public likes them and all So, I’m eating these new Doritos that are out on the shelves at your local stores now, and they’re not named, except for “X13-D” on the front of the bag. Then on the back it there are instructions to go Snack Strong Productions and name the type of Doritos. Well, not to spoil anything, but they taste exactly like hamburgers. In the notes section of the Doritos bag, it says “An All-American Classic” So I’m guessing I’m right about the flavor they’re really good I think, not something i would buy all the time, but occasionally they’re very good with a sandwich! Tomorrow we’re finally getting our pool fixed up! I am so excited. I haven’t been swimming since last September before it started getting to cold, and I an definitely ready to jump into that crisp clear pool water. I have to be up at 5 in the morning with my mom and her friend to help uncover it, drain it, and add a few things to it before we fill it up again. Oh boy, it’s going to be fun (I’m being sarcastic, by the way) but totally worth it since after we’re done I’m hopping right in. I even bought a nice $30 swimsuit yesterday. It’s really cute, and I want to use it as soon as possible! Maybe even get my tan on afterwards. I’m too white for the summer! I also bought some sunless tanning stuff made by Neutrogena that I hope works. Even though it’s just a temporary tan, it’s good to use until I get a real tan. I finally won’t be ms. white legs anymore! I’m supposed to be doing laundry right now but I figured I would do an update since I haven’t blogged in a couple of days. I almost hit the 17 comment mark again too! Thanks guys Now I have to return the comments which I will do here really soon, I promise. But for now I have to go do some laundry. If you haven’t noticed yet there is a new layout up. I made it over a week ago but I never set my site back up :/ I apologize to people who wanted to trade Q-Bee patches with me and such. I never put up a link on my index page to get to my quilt! I want to think Bren for helping me with aligning my layout. For some reason IE was being retarded and wouldn’t display it right like Firefox does. Also if you’re using IE (dumby go switch to Firefox!) you might have trouble reading some of the text on this layout because IE displays colors differently (and a lot darker to add to that) than Firefox. Shame on you for not using Firefox already! Go switch now so you can read this better Well I hope everyone had a nice Christmas and a happy new year I got a laptop, some perfume, and 75 dollars for my presents I also got my grandma and mom personalized bracelets for Christmas which they totally loved Also I got my new phone last week, the one I’ve been wanting It’s the Sony Ericsson Walkman w300i cellphone. I’m in live with it! I bought a music pack for 60 dollars that came with the PC data cable and a 1GB microSD card which I currently have 250 songs stored on It’s nice having a phone that I can listen to music on since I don’t have an MP3 player anymore. My mom also (FINALLY) switched to Cingular instead of us being stuck on the non-existing AT&T plan. So now she is getting rid of our house phone because we all have cellphones now. Ahhh I’ve had the best past 2 1/2 weeks of my life. Unfortunately I start school again on Wednesday I am happy to get to see all my friends again but my whole schedule has changed so I won’t be in the same classes I had last year, which it totally unfair. A whole semester of being in a certain class starts to grow on you, and for it to switch so abruptly is kind of hard to get used to again! I think the counselors might have put me in the wrong gym class so if it is wrong they’ll switch my schedule around all over again. They need to make up their minds! :roll: I guess change isn’t THAT bad since it gives me the chance to make new friends (yeah right) So, I guess I could sum up how NICE 2006 was to me. I’ve made a few new friends, and lost some. I’ve fallen out of love and back in. I’ve been hurt and also hurt others. I’ve grownÂ both physically and mentally. I’ve learned how to accept my flaws and mistakes and go on living. I’ve learned that I control my own life, not others. I decide what affects me and what doesn’t. I’m excited to start 2007 because I feel like I have a brand new life to work off of, and have carried over the few aspects of 2006 that I’ve come to like. I don’t have much more to talk about, so I’m going to leave on a good note. I hope everyone had a good 2006 year and make 2007 an even better year
