I bought a car a couple of weeks ago off Craigslist! It’s a bright red 1993 Toyota Tercel with 133,000 miles on it (which is nothing for a Toyota car!). I know it’s kinda old, but I think it’s absolutely adorable! We got an amazing deal for it- $1400 for the car plus 4 new snow tires. I’t sos much fun to drive around! Compared to my last car, a 1999 Hyundai Accent, I like my Toyota a lot more. Andy says it fits me perfectly and calls it my little Ladybug I really want to get a ladybug antenna ball now! I’ve already put some extra money into it (new stereo and speakers, steering wheel cover, exterior paint wax, etc.) and could not be happier!

Last week Andy and I brought the kittens to PetSavers in the valley to be fixed. All went well except Gray came home with a terrible bladder infection. I went ahead and took him to the vet the very next day and he was put on some antibiotics. Let me tell you, he is a horror to give medicine to. He hates it so much. The first couple of days he would try to spit it out. By now he has become pretty used to it, but he’s still a pain to administer the drugs to. I also went ahead and got some pain medicine for all 3 kitties. The vet was shocked that the spay / neuter clinic didn’t send me home with any. Overall the bill was around $150. Gray is still having a hard time going to the bathroom but he has shown improvement. Hopefully by next week he will be cleared up fully.

I’ve always told myself that I’d never get a Tumblr. Well, I caved and got one. I think this is going to be another reason for me to put off blogging, but let’s hope I don’t let it become like that! It’s pretty fun to share things on there..a lot better than Twitter if you ask me! But I’m not going to let that keep me from using Twitter either..even though my Twitter account has become my “location feed”. In less than two weeks (October 4th) I’ll be flying to Indiana for my brother’s wedding. He’s getting married on October 9th so that means I’ll be in Indiana for almost a week. I got my bridesmaid dress a few weeks ago and it’s absolutely stunning! I’m really excited to wear it (and of course for the wedding as well!). After the wedding I’ll be driving back to Texas with my grandparents. I’ve missed my friends and family so much and I can’t wait to see them! I’ll probably end up staying for a couple of weeks, but I’m sure I’ll start missing Andy so bad I’ll want to come back to WA pretty soon after. I guess we will see when I get there! Oh, and lets not forget I will be bringing home my beloved Maximus with me!! HORRAY! I miss him dearly. I found her this morning in her cage with her eyes barely open and she was acting very lethargic. I rushed her to the vet. Thankfully my other 3 rats didn’t get this, but it was still a hefty vet bill at $65. She looks terrible but hopefully the Baytril will start to work soon. I feel bad for her. I really hope it clears up soon. I’ve been nursing her throughout the day and she seems to want to lay up behind my neck for the most part, I guess because it’s warm there. She’s still so cold, though. I really hope she makes it through through this

Edit: Peanut has died tonight. Throughout tonight she slowly became worse and worse, and unfortunately she passed away. I only had her for a couple of weeks but I grew to love her not only as a pet, but as a little ratty friend. She was a little over a year old. I regret not having taken a lot of pictures of her. I have a few but they aren’t of the best quality thanks to my crappy blackberry camera. She’s the light brown rat on the left

Now, here comes the big news. In my last post back in March I mentioned wanting to buy a kitty to help me get over Tango’s death. Well, I finally was able to convince my mom to let me have one! He’s a 3 month old long hair black tabby. He’s so adorable! Andy and I named him Maximus, after the main character in the movie Gladiator. He is so much fun, except when he won’t settle down when I’m busy. He always wants to be in my or Andy’s lap, or running around with Baxter, one of my mom’s cats. I still need to get him his kitten shots. I haven’t been able to afford his shots he was supposed to get over the past couple of months, but now I have enough money to get him the basics and get him fixed as well. He is going to be such a beautiful kitty when he grows up He also does that weird chirping thing that a lot of kitties do. it’s so adorable!if you’re interested in what that is exactly, search for cat chirping on YouTube. You’ll love it! Recently Andy and I have constantly been on eBay. I’ve started selling stuff on there on my name Ambrosity. Right now I have 5 things listed that are ending today, so hopefully I’m going to make a decent profit off of them :). Andy has been buying stuff like crazy. He’s purchased lots of Gameboy Advance games to play on his Gamecube, mainly Mario games. They’re a lot of fun too so I’m glad he bought them. I purchased 24 nail art pens from Hong Kong for only $18 with shipping. That is such a great deal considering nail art pens are $6+ at Wal-Mart and most other places that sell beauty supplies. I have so much more stuff to sell on eBay though, much of what I can’t wait to get rid of either. It would be cool if I could make a business off of selling my stuff, but i’ll eventually run out of things to sell, so I don’t think that will be happening very soon. Oh, how does the new layout look? I figured since it’s practically Summer now, I would put up a nice summery look for my site. It was around 6am when my mom came in my room and told me Tango still hadn’t tried to come inside. Andy and I went outside trying to find him, but half way across the street my mom yelled at me to come back. We got back to her and she started crying while saying “Tango is dead.” I couldn’t figure out how she knew, until she pointed me to look under the corner of our house. There he was, laying in his side. We tried saying his name but he wouldn’t move a muscle. We knew he was dead. My mom got under and brought his body out which was already deathly cold. There were black marks on him everywhere so we concluded that he must have been hit by a car and was able to walk back to his home before his life ended. I can’t help but blame myself for it. I wish I had tried letting him in the house sooner than when we found him. I have a feeling he had only been hit by a car a couple of hours beforehand. This might sound immoral to some people, but my mom and I want to have his fur taken off and made into a small kitty blanket so we’ll always have something to remember him by. I don’t like the fact of him being put into the ground where all the bugs can get at him..that’s just a waste. So hopefully we can find somewhere today that can do that for us. It’s going to be expensive, but I think it will be worth it. We raised him from a little 2 week old kitten. We fed him and his 3 brothers and sister off a bottle until they were old enough to eat on their own. He used to always sleep on the top of my pillow or down by my feet on my bed with me. He’d come in my room and wait for me to get off the computer to lay with him and I would always make him wait so long that he would eventually just leave. I wish I hadn’t taken these moments for granted. I know a lot of people say that animals don’t have a soul, but I do believe that they do, and their souls live on forever. I’ve been downloading a lot of themes and games to my Sony Ericsson Walkman phone lately. It’s so addicting adding stuff to it since I can easily upload anything to it through my data cable There’s so many websites with the cutest themes, I just can’t resist :oops: Speaking of resisting things, I’ve been trying to resist bidding on everything I want on eBay. I’ve been looking for a new LCD screen on there for my phone and I swear I find the coolest things I’m SO tempted to buy. A number of things for my phone, actually. A few new faceplates, a leather carrying case, a strap, etc. Grr, it’s times like these I wish I had a money tree!


My grandma came over earlier today and brought a baby bird with her she had rescued from her gutter. I researched baby birds online and looked at different types, and I found it’s a baby starling. Here’s a picture of it you can click the picture to see a larger version. It’s so cute! Of course, I probably won’t be keeping it, so I’m trying to get a hold of this wildlife lady that rehabilitates animals such as this one, so maybe it will have a better chance of surviving than me taking care of it. The neatest and best part about them is they can learn to talk just like parrots do, and sometimes even better! I would love to keep it for myself and raise it like i did my cockatiel, but I really don’t have the time. With school and finals coming up soon, I wouldn’t have the appropriate time to take care of it and give it the attention it requires. So, hopefully the wildlife lady will call me back soon and I can talk her into taking it in. **EDIT** I took my main Sim family downtown and let them have fun! Check out the screenshots to the left. I mean, I have two expansion packs (Pets and Night Life) which were both around 25 dollars, and I never play them anymore. I’m thinking of starting to play again and maybe share my gaming experiences on here I never stay with families and legacies, but I love having two couples and watching them fall in love and create a family It’s so fun! So, I think I’m going to play around in it for a while even though I know I said I’d work on the site today a bit.
